Remember the County Fair of yesteryear?  Blue Ribbon contests, delicious food, games and excitement? If you’d like to experience a little bit of that nostalgia, head over to the theWacohu Grange #415 at Huyetts Crossroads September 7th & 8th to compete in their Annual Community Show.  Adults and kids can bring their best canned goods, baked goods, sewing projects, and jellies and jams.  There are literally hundreds of categories to compete in for cash prizes. Enter your best homegrown vegetables, pies, potato candy, pickles and cinnamon rolls.  As a bonus, there’s no need to cook that weekend, because they host a Spaghetti Dinner on Friday night and a Chicken BBQ on Saturday. Need to clean out some of your clutter? Rent a spot at their Saturday flea marketor browse it for treasures! The events culminate with an auction Saturday afternoon.  It’s a weekend full of food, entertainment and good, clean fun.
