There’s no need to go to New York to take in a Broadway show!  You can enjoy theater right here in Hagerstown at the Washington County Playhouse Dinner Theater, located at 44 North Potomac Street, in the rear of the building.  In its 35th Season, the playhouse continues to produce Broadway style musicals year-round, and offer shows for young audiences on select Saturdays.  Producers Laura and Shawn Martin have owned the playhouse for 5 years, and keep audiences coming back by providing delicious food and amazing local entertainment. The experience includes salad bar, hot buffet, dessert, and full bar followed by the stage show.  Embrace the holiday spirit by ordering tickets to “Dashing Through the Snow”, a family friendly comedy set in the tiny town of Tinsel, Texas, featuring a colorful parade of eccentric characters and holiday hilarity (running through December 22nd).  Or reserve your spot for Rock 'N Roll New Year's Eve on December 31st   and ring in 2019 at the playhouse by strolling down memory lane during the floor show featuring hits from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.  Check out the playhouse – they’re a tough act to follow.  You don't have to go far for a great experience!
