Don’t have the space or the inclination to have your own garden?  NO worries!  The Washington County Farmer’s Market has all the fresh produce you need – and MORE!  From 3-6 p.m. every Wednesday, from May through October, local farmers set up their booths at the Elks Club at 11063 Robinwood Drive. Bring a bag and start your shopping at Bonnie Butter’s booth (yes, that’s her real name!) Sample one of her sweet “corn cookies” and pick up a loaf of her crusty homemade artisan bread.  Then choose a cut of fresh farm raised meat from the Waltz Family Farm. All their meat is non GMO and nitrate free.  Suffer from allergies? Local Wild Flower Raw Honey is available. Browse the market and find other treasures like organic eggs from free range chickens, 8 types of delicious homemade salsa, and an assortment of wonderful smelling soap made from goats’ milk.  All of the vendors are super friendly quick to share helpful information about their products.  There is plenty of parking and the market goes on rain or shine.  So, for a great experience this week, visit the Washington County Farmer's Market!
