Anyone for some donuts?  Slide right into Home Run Donuts! By the way, have you ever heard of  Fasnachts?  Fasnachts are fried doughnuts of German origin served traditionally on Shrove Tuesday, the day before Lent starts. Fasnachts were made as a way to empty the pantry of lard, sugar, fat, and butter, which were traditionally fasted from during Lent. Although Home Run Donuts may not be serving traditional Fasnachts, they have an a lot of other options to choose from!  Head out to Home Run Donuts at Huyett’s Crossroads and try their weekly specials which include delicious flavors like maple bacon, pumpkin cream, peanut butter, salted caramel, lemon lime, cherry cheesecake and strawberry filled and are served WARM.  Glazed, Cinnamon Sugar & Blazin' Blueberry are always available.  Donuts are fried and served from their mobile unit, and there is usually a line. Their business hours vary, so check their Facebook page for specials and hours.  Ummmm - A great experience!
