Every great small town has (or should have) Minor League Baseball, and Hagerstown is no exception. There are so many reasons to see America’s Pastime played locally.  The Hagerstown Suns, Washington National’s farm system team, are back at Municipal Stadium again this year, and they are off to a winning start!  Why attend? Tickets for Suns games only cost $8 bucks (compare that to an Orioles game!) and parking is FREE. The grills at Municipal Stadium provide an endless supply of barbequed hotdogs and hamburgers for hungry fans. Where else would you get the chance to see rising stars like Bryce Harper play locally? Then there’s the rehab assignments when fortunate fans get to see major league stars get back in shape before returning to the majors after an injury (ie: Stephen Strasburg.) Every seat is a great seat at a local ball park, and you can’t help but relax in the festival atmosphere of a warm evening.  The Suns offer lots of fun promotions throughout the season.  Come out to see them at 2:00pm April 28th for Sunday Funday.  Kids will be invited to enjoy games, face painting, & autograph sessions and will have the opportunity to run the bases after the game. Take yourself and your family out to the ballgame. You don’t have to go far to get to the ballpark or to have a great experience!
