Go Over TheEdge For Kids – Rappell for a Cause

Here’s a chance to check off an item on your bucket list. On April  6th a number of brave souls will have the opportunity to experience the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rappel eleven stories down the historic Alexander House. Set on the square in downtown Hagerstown, this “Over The Edge” fundraiser is being hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County. There is no experience necessary and people of all ages can rappel.  Each rappeller receives instruction about rappelling; then trained volunteers assist the rappeler with the safety harnesses. Think you’re too old? – at another Over the Edge fundraiser, a lady in her 80s went over the edge!  But for those who aren't as adventurous, there is an alternative. "Chickens" can raise money and observe the rappel from the "Chicken Coop", a cozy place to cheer on the rappellers.  You can register to rappell yourself...or, why not sponsor Chris Dickerson - he will be rapelling to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County; click HERE for more information on sponsoring Chris.  Way to go Chris!
