Booksavers of Maryland - A Great Experience!

Book Lovers Rejoice!  While bookstores are becoming few and far between, Hagerstown still has a gem located right in our midst, where bibliophiles can still peruse the aisles and smell the pages.  Booksavers of Maryland, is a non profit bookstore that has been selling used books in their retail store and online for more than 20 years. Step into their warm, friendly store, located at 13625 Pennsylvania Avenue, and spend as much time as you like browsing through their shelves of books.  See something you like?  Feel free to take it to their Reading Room and get comfortable on their sofa while you peruse the pages of adult, children, fiction, non-fiction and reference books.  They also have a large Education Room that houses many textbooks and resources for homeschoolers.  Like to shop online?  They advertise nearly 60,000 titles for sale on AbeBooks.com, Amazon.com, eBay, and Alibris.com.  Booksavers is supported by donations of books by community members, libraries and schools, so when you’re finished reading your books, you can bring them back to Booksavers to be enjoyed by other book lovers.  Passionate about the environment? Bring your newspaper and cardboard and they will recycle it for free.
